Roy and his wife, Amy, established the business on March 4, 1933, at 452 Murray Street, Perth, during the Great Depression. Their dedication and hard work laid the foundation for what Galvins has become today. Naming the app "ROY" pays tribute to Roy Galvin's legacy and the enduring values he instilled in the company.
